Trail Walking Guide Album
Below you will find some examples of my photography from the last number of years. I am relatively new to the art, and unfortunately never had the opportunity to serve my apprenticeship in pre-digital days. Through a want to progress from the point and shoot 10,000 photos in the hope of catching one good one, I have taken a number of courses in the past years to help me expand my view and maybe identify my needs as photographer. Although I would like to take my picture into the enigma of art in the future, for now I am happy to use my snaps to share my experiences and promote the great outdoors.
Most of my photos are now taken with Canon equipment which include use of the following items; Canon 40D, Canon 5D Mark II, Canon EF 16-35mm f2.8L II USM, Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM, Manfrotto tripods.
I am in no way a professional when it comes to equipment, but would be more than happy to become one if Canon would like to sponsor me!!!
All my photos are shot RAW and then undergo processing using Adobe Lightroom. Although I try to keep processing to a minimum, I occasionally dabble with Adobe Photoshop CS3.
